Dr. Martina Zisková

Dr Martina Zisková is an Ayurvedic Medical Doctor and Educator with strong clinical research, medical publishing and clinical experience in allopathic medicine. She is the founder of an Ayurvedic Gurukula learning center and has created professional training for Ayurveda therapists in line with BAMS education. Dr. Zisková also has ayurvedic clinical practice in Europe and the USA. She is the author of Áhára: A practical guide in Ayurveda and In the Ayurvedic Kitchen and was the Editor-in-Chief of the academic journal "Ayurveda Journal of Health". She holds a MD bachelor from Charles University in Prague.

Dr. Madan Thangavelu

Genome Biologist, Transdisciplinary University, Bangalore (India)

Dr. Madan Thangavelu’s current primary research interest is the development of single DNA molecule and single cell techniques for genome analysis. His recent academic affiliations have included Research Fellowships at the Department of Oncology, University of Cambridge. Dr. Thangavelu is an International Advisory Board Member of the International Quarterly Journal of Research in Ayurveda “AYU”, International Editorial Advisory Board Member of the Journal of Ayurveda Case Reports “AyuCaRe”.

Dr. Christian S. Kessler

BAMS/MD, Berlin (Germany)

Dr. Christian S. Kessler is research coordinator and physician at the Department for Integrative Medicine at Immanuel Hospital Berlin. He integrates Ayurveda actively in his medical consultations. One of his goals is to scientifically advance Traditional Indian Medicine in Germany and Europe, in particular in the medical arena. Dr. Kessler is the author of several research publications on Ayurveda, such as "Reliability of Ayurvedic Diagnosis for Knee Osteoarthritis Patients: A Nested Diagnostic Study Within a Randomized Controlled Trial", "Ayurveda Abroad: Non-native Perspectives and Needs for Translating It to Western Settings".

Dr. Suhas Kshirsagar is a classically trained Ayurvedic Physician with over 30 years of clinical experience. He has traveled all around the globe popularizing Ayurveda. He is a best selling author, sought after motivational speaker, researcher and an acclaimed educator in the field of Ayurveda & Integrative Medicine. He was featured in numerous Radio & TV shows including NBC the Dr Oz show. Dr. Suhas Kshirsagar is a consultant for the Chopra Center, Dean of Mount Madonna Institute and the Director of Ayurvedic Healing Inc and other international organizations in the field of Yoga & Ayurveda. He is the author of The Hot Belly Diet, Change Your Schedule and Change Your Life, The Art & Science of Vedic Counseling.

Mark Rosenberg

Director of European Academy of Ayurveda, Birstein (Germany)

As a pioneer in teaching Yoga and Vedic sciences in Europe, Mark Rosenberg founded in 1993 the Academy that has developed into the leading educational institution for Ayurveda in Europe, having so far taught more than 20,000 students. One of Mark Rosenberg’s major achievements was to set up the first university-based study program for Ayurveda medicine in Europe leading to an MSc degree, in cooperation with Middlesex University, London. He has also created one of the first official Ayurveda training programs for doctors. Mark Rosenberg played a central role in establishing the first state- regulated Ayurveda professions in Austria and Switzerland.
